Do you offer a discounted rate for non-profit organizations?
Yes. We are happy to support non-profits with their marketing efforts. Certified 501(c)3 organizations will receive a reduced rate on hourly work as well as any project-based fees.
Do you handle website transfers?
Yes. Though the transfer does depend on what platform or service you currently use. For example, it’s very easy to transfer a site built using WordPress. If you are using or want to use a proprietary system like Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy’s site builder, it will be more complicated. Set up a discovery call and we can review your situation and discuss options.
How long does it take to build a website?
From start to finish a website can take 4 weeks or 4 months. Assuming that the design is approved quickly, the main element that determines how long a website will take to build is content. Specifically, how much content is going into the site. This can translate into how many total pages will make up the site or how complicated the content might be. For example, a long menu for a restaurant is more complicated to enter and format than a page describing one service an accountant offers.
The x-factor in all of this is how long it takes the client to deliver their approved content (i.e. text, photos videos, etc.). Sometimes it can take weeks or months to get these pieces delivered. If you think the content could be a sticking point, let us know. We can help with writing, photography, and videos.
Why doesn't my business show up on Google searches?
Also, where are you located when you are doing your search? Are you in the same town as your business?
There are other reasons that will play a role including how competitive your industry is in your area, how well those competitors have optimized their website to be on Google’s radar compared to yours and even things like reviews will factor in.
